PALM BEACH. Set on the ground floor of the historic Paramount Building, Jo's is actually composed of two dining rooms, separated by an open terrace hung with pots of blooming greenery. The intimate rooms, elegant and airy, feature light, carved furniture and are adorned with muted tapestries and floral prints. The cuisine draws consistent raves for its quality and flavor. Weighted towards French dishes, the menu also strays into Asian and American territories to good effect. Duck à l'orange is practically a signature dish it's done so well; following suit are seafood and meat-based entrees. Soups find praise as well, particularly the rich lobster bisque. You'll also be glad to know that homemade desserts are available, along with a great, if expensive, wine collection.
